Lord Mayor's Show hamper_58674

Great British food

For one day only, rural life came to the streets of London as part of the 803rd Lord Mayor's Show, held earlier this month. For the fifth year running, the NFU has supported the Worshipful Company of Farmers. With more than 600,000 people in attendance, it's a prime opportunity to tell the public how proud farmers are to produce the food we eat. And to showcase just some of this food, a hamper containing the NFU Countryside Kitchen recipe book along with oils, preserves and drinks made from the best British produce, was presented to the Lord Mayor during the event, pictured above.
