Great British food

There's still time to get involved in British Food Fortnight and this year Love British Food is running a competition to find Britain's biggest community celebration of food. A superb group of high-profile judges from the food industry are involved in the competition this year, including chef Raymond Blanc, Great British Bake-off winner Candice Brown and NFU president Minette Batters. 

If you want to enter your community, just take lots of photos of your local celebratory event and send them in before 15 October. If you don't have an event happening near your, it's not too late to organise one! The find out more and how to enter, click here.

The NFU has asked that any progressing orders are honoured until this date and that existing customers who are NFU members continue to be receive the level of service that the NFU expects. The NFU has partnered with charity Crimestoppers to launch the Rural Crime Reporting Line through which the public can give anonymous information about four types of rural crimes: large-scale fly-tipping, hare coursing, livestock theft and machinery theft. This is a vital tool in the fight against rural crime and to find out more and how you can report a crime, click here.
